APDI(SW) 50th Anniversary Conference

The APDI(SW) will be holding it´s 50th Anniversary Conference on Monday 14th May 2018, at the Watermark Centre in Ivybridge. Confirmed presenters include:

Devon & Cornwall Police

Dr Cris Burgess will be speaking at the conference. Cris is Director of Education, Psychology, at the University of Exeter (qualifications too many to list!). He is a keen driver and experienced motorcyclist, has advised a variety of local authorities and blue-light services nationally on aspects of road safety, particularly relating to car and motorcycle offender behaviour, education and training. He is frequently called on to advise on road safety campaigns.

Driver education is our industry, and an insight into why people behave the way they do on the roads, why they commit the offences they do, is a must for us all.

Jacqui Turland will now be representing DVSA in place of Mark Magee, along with John Caradine. Come along and ask them the questions you want answers to!

Olly Tayler´s presentation -From First Call to Crown Court
